Subject: Announcing New ICE Web Site Enhancements
Message: We heard you, and ICE is excited to let you know about some great new enhancements to our web site that have recently been completed based on your feedback!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) - an FAQ application has been developed that provides the following functionality:

• From the new “FAQs” tab on the web site, users can select from a dropdown menu any team that has entered FAQ data. The information can also be viewed directly from a team’s page on the web site, which can be accessed from the “Teams” tab.
• Web site users can also access a form from the “FAQs” tab that allows them to search the FAQs, either for all teams or for a particular team. If their particular question does not appear, the user is able to enter a question through the FAQ application.
• Once a question is entered, it will be automatically forwarded to the designated Team Lead of the selected team.
• If the information is already posted in the FAQs or if a direct reply is more appropriate to the question, the Team Lead(s) will provide information directly to the asker through email.
• If the question is new and broad enough in scope, the Team Lead will enter the answer and it will appear in the FAQs.
• When a Team Lead has published a new question and answer in the FAQs, the person who asked the question will be automatically notified with a link to the information.

Content Personalization - this enhancement customizes the experience of using the ICE web site. It allows site users to automatically access information that is most important to them when they visit the site. Upon logging into the system, users are presented with the relevant library categories, calendar events, bulletins, and messages based on their associated teams. The user can click through the listings to directly access the information they need on a regular basis.

Content Enhancements - the following web site content enhancements are intended to increase site ease of use:

• Document search from home page - previously, the user had to go to the Library to be able to use the document search. A search form on the home page allows the user to enter search terms, and entering a search term will bring the user to the same search page as the standard library search and display the search results. The home page also contains a link to the advanced search page.

• Library tutorial - to help users understand how the library is organized and understand the various browse and search functions that are available, a Library tutorial page has been developed. New users are advised to start with this page prior to using the Library. Existing users who may be having trouble finding documents will also be advised to review the tutorial information.

• Podcast tutorial - a page has been developed that explains the details of audio podcasting and the various ways that the audio files can be accessed.

Enhanced Library Search - this enhancement provides a more contextual library search mechanism. Modifications include:

• Search by Post Date
• Search by Future Expiration Date
• Narrowing of Search Criteria to Folder Name, Document Title, Document Description or Document Name

The following additional Library improvement recommendations have also been implemented:

• The user can select a library category and display all documents across the associated folders and subfolders by choosing a category name from the drop-down menu under the Advanced Search function.
• Documents in the Approved ICE Documents area of the Library that are more than three (3) years old are automatically archived. Any documents coming up for automatic expiration can be displayed by associating a future expiration date under the Advanced Search function. Any documents already archived would need to be requested from the applicable ICE team lead.

We would like to thank you for taking the time to complete our web site surveys each year. Your feedback is invaluable, and we hope these enhancements to the ICE web site improve your visits and make it easier to find what you are looking for. If you have any questions, feedback to share or other suggestions, please send your comments to admin@iceforhealth.org. Thank you.
