Angela Dorsey has worked in the health care industry for over 30 years. She is currently the Director of Delegation Oversight for Blue Shield of California and Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan in which she leads a team responsible for oversight of all delegated entities for Claims, Credentialing and Utilization Management. Her prior experience includes leadership positions in credentialing and delegation with Aetna Inc. She also worked as an independent consultant on various regulatory processes for several major IPA’s. Angela previously served in leadership roles within HICE including the shared credentialing and quality teams. In an effort to support the progression of the industry, she served as a keynote speaker for several credentialing organizations. Angela has a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and a master’s degree in Psychology.
