April Harrell has worked in the health care industry for over 23 years. April has been employed with Cigna since 2013 and supports the Quality & Accreditation team in Delegation Oversight assisting in international, national, regional & California delegation oversight activities. April’s background encompasses medical-surgical nursing specializing in kidney transplants, high-risk antepartum & post-partum mother baby nursing, Clinic Manager for local health department, EPSDT physicals, Case Management & Utilization Management. April is passionate about life-long learning and obtained a Master of Legal Studies in 2019 from Santa Barbara & Ventura Colleges of Law. Special areas of interest include compliance, quality, and the ever-changing regulatory landscape.
