Mei Ling Christopher is the Manager of Clinical Quality at UnitedHealthcare. She manages the delegated credentialing oversight activities for over 730 delegated provider organizations. Mei Ling began her career with United as a Manager of Care Coordination and Prior Authorization. Mei Ling is recognized as a subject matter expert in accreditation and regulatory requirements and chairs the team responsible for UnitedHealthcare’s credentialing plan. She was a Co-Lead for the California HICE Credentialing Policy Team for ten years and was instrumental in the expansion of the HICE Credentialing Team in the three other markets. She became a Team Leadership Co-Chair in 2022. Mei Ling is a Registered Nurse and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Arts. She has over twenty-five years’ experience in health care.
