Beth Richardson has been in the health care industry for over 30 years beginning in hospital finance (as Assistant Controller/Acting Controller of FHP Hospital). She has worked for Scan Health Plan, HealthCare Partners and Molina Health Care, Inc. prior to Blue Shield of California Health Plan. As a consultant she also performed claims audits for DMHC in the early 2000s. Her history with industry associations started with the HCFA Managed Care Operations Team (otherwise known as HMCOT) in the 1990's (assisted in groups and also as a trainer) which led her to her current job as co-lead for the HICE C&C IT System Integrity and Security Workgroup. She became a Team Leadership Co-Chair in 2022. Beth Richardson also participated as a trainer, Director on the Board and President of the Board of the Western Claim Conference.
