To HICE Participants

Welcome back to the bi-monthly CEO Update, designed to keep members apprised of the current happenings at HICE. Here is what has been going on since my last report:

HICE Annual Conference – “25th in 2025” Silver Celebration / Early Bird Registration Now Open through September 30, 2025!

The 25th HICE Annual Conference will be taking place this year, so please come and help us celebrate our silver anniversary! The conference will be held on Monday, December 8 & Tuesday, December 9, once again at the beautiful Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas in the Coachella Valley of Southern California.

There are a limited number of rooms in the HICE room block, so it is suggested that reservations be made as soon as possible to secure the discounted rate of $239 per night. The resort fee has been waived for HICE, and day-only and overnight self-parking has been reduced to $15.

This conference is a must for healthcare industry leadership, frontline managers and staff alike. Whether your role is in general administration, medical and pharmacy, network management, product development and sales, government, regulatory, legal or public relations, you will find this conference rich in content. Early bird registration will be open through September 30, 2025 – you won’t want to miss it, so register today!

Association Partnerships

Monthly meetings continue between HICE and the California Association of Health Plans (CAHP), as well as America’s Physician Groups (APG). These discussions continue to be very beneficial on all sides and provide an excellent opportunity to stay aligned on collaborative work efforts for the industry and for HICE to stay at the forefront of upcoming regulatory requirements to better support and prepare the various HICE teams for potential standardization opportunities around implementation. Current discussions taking place pertain to proposed legislation related to credentialing, the coded division of financial responsibility and prior authorization.
